The DWO Fanfiction Awards are a yearly event in Doctor Who Online fanfiction that distributes awards to writers, series, stories and other areas of fanfiction via voting. The awards have been taking place since 2009, however in 2013 there has been some debate over the yearly format and it has been suggested that the awards take a more regular format. The awards have several categories on which a voter can vote on and from the 2012 season, these are:
