Mini-Episodes is a series based around the British science-fiction series Doctor Who. It first premired on New Years Eve 2013 with the episode "The New Doctor". The series is written by Doctor Who Online member Connor Farley (DoctorWhoTwelve), as well as produced and edited. Series 1 is currently in production with thirteen planned episodes being written, with a Christmas Special 2014, also planned. The series casts Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi as the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors, with Jenna Coleman and Tristan Beint cast as companions Clara Oswald and Tom.
Series 1 (2014)[]
Series 1 premiered on New Years Eve 2013, with 'The New Doctor'. The series features classic Doctor Who villians such as the Daleks, Cybermen, the Silence and the re-apperance of the Yeti. The cast for Series 1 is The Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi), Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) and Tristan Beint (Tom). The series will conclude in March 2014, with a Christmas special on 25th December. The series will consist of 13 episodes.

Series 2 (2015)[]
Just after the premiere of the first series, writer, producer and director Connor Farley announced that a Series 2 will go into pre-production in late 2014. The premiere date is not yet confirmed, but like the first series, a January premiere is likely. It was also announced that Jenna Coleman and Tristan Beint will return as Clara Oswald and Tom, but Peter Capaldi will not feature in Series 2 and will instead be replaced for one series by Matt Smith as the eleventh incarnation as the Doctor. The second series will feature 13 episodes and a Christmas special.
